ASCers from far and wide came together to celebrate his life and to help raise funds guaranteeing his surviving baby son the opportunity to attend college. Compassion and generosity were the hallmarks of this touching evening. |

Our good friend Rip Kemp began to plan for an intimate cigar dinner at his favorite Cuban restaurant Casa Albertos. He wanted to share a few smokes over classic Havana fare with his friends. As it turns out, Rip has a lot of friends and he ended up playing host to over 30 ASCers nationwide. It was a grand evening of cigars, food and friends. |

Six of the cigar industry's finest were honored in style for their lifetime contribution to tobacco, cigars, and the business in a lavish black tie dinner at the Grand Hyatt in Manhattan. CA's Marvin Shanken played host to nearly 600 attendees dressed to the nines as they celebrated the success of those being honored and the revival of the cigar. |
