Villiger
Premium No. 7

Looking for a tasty, inexpensive, and quick
smoke? Then look no further than the Villiger Premium No. 7.
Yes, that is right... Mr. "Doesn't He Smoke Handmade Cubans
all Damn Day?" is recommending a machine made cigar from
Switzerland. This is not a dry cigar, but rather a humidified
4 x 38 short panatela with a dark Sumatra wrapper that comes
with a pre-V cut head in a foil wrapper. This small cigar produces
a dense smoke with a hearty earthy flavor and a spicy aftertaste.
It is mellow strength wise, yet surprisingly full of flavor.
Are they better than a RA Short Club Corona? Of course not, but
the No. 7 is a great 15-minute smoke and considering that they
are less than $0.80 each, they are a fantastic bargain. Even
with all the cigars I can choose to smoke from, I still herf
these little gems when I want a cheap quickie.

JR
Ultimate Principales Oscuro

The JR Ultimate Prinipales Oscuro is made by the
master blender at the Villazon factory, Estelo Padron. He is regarded
as one of the world's best cigar makers, and happens to be the blood
relative brother of Jose Padron Sr., the owner of and master cigar maker
of Padron Cigars. This cigar is a toro-sized parejo with a fat 54 ring
size and an extra dark Maduro wrapper. It is a medium-bodied earthy
Honduran blend with notes of sweet cedar from its wrapper and a long
finish. It is a cool pleasing smoke that is sure to satisfy most new
and more experienced cigar smokers. At less than $4.00 apiece it is
one of my personal favorite value priced premiums - the JR Ultimate
Principales Oscuro is a great smoke at a fair price.

Habana
Partagas Lusitania

With its 7 5/8" foot to head length
and 49 beam, the Habana Partagas Lusitania is one of the most
majestic vitolas ever made. It is a splendid cigar with round
notes of earth, coffee, chocolate, and exotic spices that never
allows the palate a dull moment. Each and every draw seems more
delectable than the one before it. This double corona never fights
the smoker with its strength, but rather lures him in like a
sultry siren. It is a truly magnificent cigar with an exquisite
aroma that is certain to seduce even the most naïve while
also leaving the most decadent Havana smoker sated. Although
named in honor of the ill fated RMS Lusitania, which was torpedoed
by a German U-boat on May 7th, 1915, this classic Cuban double
corona proves itself to be unsinkable.
